About Us

BearBytes is a technical startup consultancy primarily working with SMEs and startups. Our main goal is to help organizations to grow or plan for growth through the implementation of technology and process.

Hello, we are Bear Bytes

Whilst Louis Bacon (me) had spent many years working with startups and SMEs I noticed an increasing correlation between good technology foundations, people, processes and the relative successes (or lack of successes) of those companies. Louis (me again) began to build a framework for scalability and began to test this with SMEs he was working with and as a result BearBytes was founded.

Having worked with businesses of various sizes from the one man band to the larger SME, he offers a tailored approach to fit the individual needs of the client.

Bear Bytes pride ourselves on building meaningful relationships and working closely with our clients so we can give the maximum impact for the business.

We have 20 years experience spanning multiple sectors including PropTech, LawTech and FinTech markets and have experience across a broad range of technical aspects.

Our Work Process

We believe in simple actionable advice and not over complicating things allowing our clients to understand and take action immediately. We also are fans of the tech acronym YAGNI (you ain't gonna need it yet) meaning we will stick to the scope.

The first step would be to develop an understanding of the business needs. We start by finding the business drivers and objectives.

Plan

A plan of "what" the objectives are along with potential solutions to achieve those objectives.

Design

A strategy design is constructed which will detail "how" to achieve the outcomes in the plan.

Implement

Bring the plan to life, using the appropriate technology, process and people components.
